Gowin DVI TX

Introduction

DVI (Digital Visual Interface) is based on TMDS (Transition Minimized Differential Signaling) technology to transmit digital signals. DVI TX IP is used to receive parallel video signals, which are then encoded into TMDS signals according to the DVI specification. DVI RX IP is used to receive TMDS signal and then decodes into parallel video signals according to the DVI specification.

DVI_TX

The DVI_TX IP is used to transform the video timing signals and data into Transition Minimized Differential Signaling(TMDS), and transmit it over the Digital Visual Interface(DVI). In DVI, three channels are designated for red, green, and blue color components(RGB888) in each video pixel data.
